“LiveClasses provides free short public video meetings and optional paid academy-management subscriptions. Quran content is provided as an educational feature and is not sold separately.”
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to operate our WebRTC real-time classroom infrastructure, manage multi-tenant Quran academy accounts, and protect our platform from abuse.
- Public Free Meetings: No registration, payment, email, or phone number is required. We collect temporary meeting display names, salted IP hashes for rate limiting, device hashes, and LiveKit connection metadata.
- Paid Academy SaaS: Account names, email addresses, roles (Owner, Admin, Teacher, Student), course enrollments, class schedules, and attendance records.
- Quran & PDF Library: Quran surah/verse navigation preferences and course-restricted PDF document streaming access logs.
2. How Data is Used
Your data is strictly used for platform operation, scheduling real-time WebRTC audio/video calls, enforcing the 20-minute / 5-participant limits on free meetings, and safeguarding academy environments.
3. Absolute Guarantees
- We do NOT sell personal data to third parties or data brokers.
- We do NOT build advertising profiles or deliver target ads.
- We do NOT record meeting audio or video during public free meetings or standard academy classes by default.
- We do NOT train AI models on user video, voice, or chat content without explicit consent.
- Quran Text Integrity: Quran text and verified translations are served intact without alteration.
4. Data Retention Policy
- Free Anonymous Meeting Operational Metadata: Automatically purged after 7 days.
- Security & Rate-Limit Audit Logs: Retained for 30 days.
- Paid Academy Records: Retained for the duration of the active subscription or until deleted by the academy owner.
- Expired Security Tokens: Invalidated immediately upon meeting expiration.
5. Children’s Privacy & Safeguarding
Paid academy accounts for minors are created and managed by authorized Quran academies, schools, or parents/guardians. Children using public free meetings must do so under the authorization and supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher.
